Urban Stamps was born of a combination of Wanderlust, Manhole Cover admiration and the love of Sustainable Living.<\/p>

My name is Dot, I currently live between the UK and Spain. <\/p>

After seeing so many amazing and often overlooked manholes and designs on the streets during my nomadic years, I decided to turn some of them into printable art and attended a printing workshop with the fantastic Emma @raubdruckerin in Berlin. <\/p>

Sustainability has been a big part of my life. Growing up in a small village in the Black Forest in Germany, my family has always been into sustainability around food. Growing up helping with farming our own vegetables, potatoes, fruits and walking to a nearby small family farm with my older brother to get fresh, still warm milk straight from the cows are some of my favourite memories growing up. We also foraged quite a lot of foods from the forest, like mushrooms, nuts and herbs. <\/p>

\"mnk0ivijyhrlnx3thlmkktrt2zoze5kvenbbru3qjtzusrkc.jpeg.jpeg?w=1140&v=2\"Fast forward to my current life, sustainability is still a massive part in my every day life, buying as much 2nd hand as possible and aiming to lead a lifestyle with a minimalistic environmental footprint.<\/p>

When I decided to print art and make clothes, it had to be a sustainable company with good values, and TeeMill provided just that. They use renewable energy and GOTS certified organic cotton and environmentally friendly ink (just as we do printing the art). And the clothes feel just amazing.<\/p>
